New ArahPaint video tutorial: Design walnut burl veneer pattern
Wood patterns have always been a source of inspiration for textile designers. They can be printed or woven jacquards.
In this video we show how to create a walnut burl veneer pattern in ArahPaint. Walnut burl veneer is made from a burl, which is a growth abnormality of a walnut tree, that has a unique swirling, wavy pattern. We usually see it made into luxury furniture. Now we can create similar patterns in ArahPaint by using a new Displacement function, and transform them into jacquard fabrics.
